Description

We are actively seeking Bilingual Clinician for full-time and part-time/as needed opportunities. We have opportunities currently in Arizona and will offer travel assistance and immediate, temporary lodging. These opportunities in Arizona are full-time and for candidate's interested in these opportunities, relocation assistance, licensure reimburesement and the such will be provided as additional assistance

The Clinician is responsible for providing mental health assessment and counseling intervention services, as well as continually monitoring and documenting clients' mental well-being and overall adjustment to the Unaccompanied Minors program.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Conduct intake, admission, and diagnostic assessments with clients, and document results according to minimum standards.

Collaborate with treatment team members and clients to develop treatment plans.

Provide weekly one-to-one counseling and crisis intervention as needed.

Facilitate psycho-educational and therapeutic client groups.

Continually monitor the mental well-being of clients and arrange for appropriate services as needed.

Provide consultation and documentation regarding clients' functioning, mental health status, and treatment needs.

Provide clinical services within licensing and funding source guidelines.

Exemplify a customer service attitude by placing the child, parent, family or lodge member first with every action taken to support our vision 'That the most at-risk within our communities, children and those with chronic mental illness, have a real opportunity for a different and better tomorrow.'

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION: Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) Counseling, Psychology or other relevant behavioral science field in which clinical training and experience is a program requirement and two years of postgraduate direct service delivery experience.

Two years of postgraduate direct service delivery experience preferred conduction clinical interviewing and assessment, as well as individual and group counseling.

EXPERIENCE: 2-3 years' experience. Experience working with children, youth, and/or families from high-risk backgrounds. Successful completion of 86 hours of pre-service training and job shadowing.

ATTENDANCE: Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such level as is determined in the employer's sole discretion.

LICENSES: Commercial Drivers License with passenger endorsement and clear record. Licensed or license eligible in respective field (to include but not limited to: LPC, LCSW, LMFT).

VEHICLE: Must have daily use of a vehicle without prior notice.

OTHER: Ability to work on an on-call basis and report on short notice. Must be available and willing to work nights, weekends and holidays as required to meet business needs. Must be available and willing to travel to various locations and with such frequency as the business need dictates. Must not pose a direct threat or significant risk of substantial harm to the safety or health of himself/herself or others.

Required to work a flexible schedule to facilitate program services. Cleared Tuberculosis test results. Cleared background check from appropriate entity. Ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing. Must be at least 21 years of age at the time of hire

EXCEPTIONS TO THESE CRITERIA MUST BE APPROVED BY THE DEPARTMENT HEAD.

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES:

COMMUNICATION: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively via oral or written means. Ability to present a friendly and positive demeanor to children and clients served, staff and the general public.

COMPOSURE: Ability to remain calm and maintain self-control in the midst of difficult circumstances and emergencies. Ability to respond in a professional manner in all situations.

DECISION MAKING: Ability to set work priorities and to evaluate and create solutions to work related problems. Ability to think analytically and evaluate the impact of decisions.

SUPERVISION: Ability to train, evaluate and guide employees as normally acquired during three or more years of experience as a supervisor. Ability to delegate and ensure follow through. Ability to provide feedback in a respectful and constructive manner.

MANAGEMENT: Knowledge of business and management practices involved in strategic planning, resource allocation and leadership. Works with a bias towards action.

COMPUTER: Basic knowledge of computers. Prefer experience with MS Office.
