The world's leading private security organization, G4S, has an immediate job opportunity for a Corporate Risk Agent. As a Corporate Risk Agent, you will conduct protective services, risk consulting and investigations as needed for a wide variety of corporate clients in various industries. We are looking for a diverse workforce for protective services in plainclothes. The role will mainly be responsible for an assignment as requested by client(s) and will deliver high-quality protective services while safeguarding the key stakeholders, employees, assets or Executive Management members. Agent must work independently on projects, from conception to completion, and be able to at times work under pressure to handle a wide variety of activities.  Corporate Risk Agents are expected to competently respond to any situation that may arise while supporting the client, and actively support the organization’s mission without impeding business continuity. We are looking for employees who are predictable and possess an ability to function in a variety of challenging environments. Agents will be utilized for Executive Protection assignments, Plain Clothes Work Place Violence Prevention, executive driving positions, corporate investigations and perform risk assessments as required.

Other duties may include:

  • Prepare accurate communications to report incidents
  • Perform investigative duties and culminate findings into a report
  • Perform risk assessments
  • Identify potentially dangerous situations and pro-actively mitigate risk
  • All other duties assigned

Main Responsibilities

Specific Duties and Essential Functions

 

  • Identify and communicate daily all actionable items to support project management and provide necessary support of client needs
  • Provide timely communications and actionable information to client, Risk Operations Center and Corporate Risk Services team in order to maintain effective reporting channels and deliver operational details and changes
  • Accurately assess threats, identified suspicious characters, vehicles, bad actors while de-escalating potentially dangerous situations, and report all incidents to the Risk Operations Center
  • Respond to security incidents and interceding when necessary to protect the client from harm or embarrassment
  • Establish relationships with internal and external customers to assist clients and Field Directors to closely manage projects
  • Prepare accurate communication via email to clients, employees, Directors, clients, and vendors and document findings, observations or recommendations into a comprehensive report

 

The Ideal Candidate

Education, Licenses and Certifications Required

  • Associate’s degree in fields such as, criminology, criminal justice, political science, international studies, national security, or any other related field
  • Must possess a valid and current license or credentials as required to perform protective services in good standing
  • Must possess a valid and current driver license

Type and Length of Specific Experience Required

  • Minimum 5 years of verifiable relevant military, government, law enforcement, security industry or corporate experience
  • Minimum 3 years of verifiable experience providing protective services in a corporate environment

  • Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively

  • Must be at least 18 years old or the minimum age required by the state, if higher
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States
  • To qualify for this position you must have:

Physical Requirements and Environment

Environment: Indoor and Outdoor; minimal exposure to extreme temperatures is expected

Major activity: Standing, listening, observing, may require walking for long periods, driving

Physical efforts to carry out job duties: Standing. Moderate amount of exercise, may require physical strength to remove protectee out of harm, or non-lethal to lethal force. Applicant required to maintain a high level of physical fitness and personal appearance to be able to respond to life-threatening situations and blend within any given environment
