We are looking for a Key Account Manager, Tiers who will Act as the focal point for all sales activities at the Tier customers.  This role supports Tier 1 and Tier 2 supplier levels, dealing in Electrical Distribution Systems/Wiring Harnesses or Tubes, Hoses  and Cables.  The Key Account Manager reports to the Sales Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Makes sales calls to develop applications, gain content, and develop long-term relationships with key engineers and purchasing
  • Promote the sale of product by solicitation at the Design Engineer level.
  • Develop strategic sales plans designed to further grow the business at the tier customers responsible for manufacturing Wire Harnesses and Tubes, Hoses and Cables through new product development and core products.
  • Build sales volume of existing products and search for new opportunities or design variations of new products utilizing both our textile and non-textile technologies.
  • Ensure all opportunities are captured and followed up in Sales Force.  Responsible to report out KPI’s for CRM to NA Sales Manager, Tiers  
  • Build sales volume of existing products, and search for new opportunities on design variations or new products, utilizing our textile and new technologies.
  • Manage and build effective relationships with customers’ Engineering, Materials and Purchasing departments, as well as intercompany departments. Assist with plant trials, quality issues and supply problems.
  • Support sales effort by providing samples, data, pricing and product application information. Succesfuly introduce new products to customers.
  • Participate in product/marketing strategies, trade shows & new product development, and have ability to give and develop product presentations.
  • Interact internally at plant level with departments such as Quality, Customer Service, Materials, and Engineering.
  • Capable of providing support as requested by supervisor.

 

Education: Bachelor’s Degree is required.

 

Skills & Experience:​​​​​​​

  • 3+ years of Account Management experience
  • Experience building and maintaining customer accounts
  • Expert in building strategic sales plans
  • Automotive experience (preffered)
