Tanker Driver Responsibilities
- Load and transfer product as required
- Unload raw materials from tank trucks
- Transport and unload chemicals into customers’ tanks, safely and with the required paperwork
- Safe handling of hoses for loading and unloading
- Perform pre and post trip inspections
- Comply with all Company, Customer Federal, State, Local laws rules and regulations
- Become familiar with plant operating procedures
- Other duties as assigned
What You Need To Be Successful
- Minimum two (2) years of tractor/tanker experience
- Minimum one (1) year of tanker experience
- Must have a valid commercial Driver's License, CDL Class A, with appropriate hazmat and tanker endorsements
- A clean driving record for past three (3) years
- Be physically qualified to drive a motor vehicle and provide valid medical card
- Be able to provide proof of experience or training to safely operate the type of motor vehicle used by Chemtrade
- Ability to work a flexible and changeable schedule that includes weekends, evenings, and overtime
- Must possess excellent customer service skills, verbal and written communication skills
- Must be a self-starter with the ability to work with a minimum of supervision, be highly motivated, energetic, and enjoy working as part of a team

Rail Loaders at our Toledo Sulphuric Acid Plant safely unload & load rail cars and ensure the cars are suitable for transportation outside the facility.
Qualifications
- High School Graduate or equivalent education required.
- Previous Maintenance experience desired.

About This Role and You
The Lab Chemist provides support to multiple manufacturing plants and the Water Chemicals and Acid businesses through analytical data generation and guidance pertaining to production processes, NSF and AWWA standards. This is accomplished through process evaluation and recommendations, analysis of raw material sources, finished product sample evaluations and providing support to both external customers and Chemtrade Technical Service, Sales and Marketing Groups
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry preferred, or science, engineering or related field with commensurate experience
- Minimum 1-5 years of relevant experience preferred
- Proficient in wet lab chemical analyses
- Experience in calibration, troubleshooting instrument issues, and analytical methods
- Demonstrate team and leadership skills, a desire to participate in a new business endeavor that is highly competitive, visible, and that requires high quality standards.
- Attention to detail, adaptability, self-starter, excellent leadership and communication skills are essential

Production support - 30%
- Provides production support though analysis of finished products, in-process streams and raw materials
- Provides full scale production adjustments and batch planning on a daily basis, as needed, to accommodate changes in raw materials, customer specific standards, and equipment or process anomalies
- Provides on call production assistance facilities throughout the US and Canada
- Provides daily guidance to production sample analyses anomalies and paths forward
Sales and Marketing support -10%
- Support Sales and Marketing though submission of samples and analytical data.
- Management of samples that are distributed to customers, potential customers and Chemtrade field personnel.
- Perform dangerous good sample shipments with adherence to both IATA and DOT requirements. Routinely provides detailed assistance to other facilities /business units with sample shipping needs.
Special projects/studies - 10%
- Investigation, development and set up of new analytical procedures as needed
- Participate in corporate lead quality activities
Raw and alternate raw materials, Finished Products - 40%
- Analyzes samples, performs QA/QC reviews of measured data and provides input on findings relative to final disposition of the raw materials.
- Raw and alternate raw materials may include but are not limited to bauxite, aluminum trihydrate, magnetite, sulfuric acid and hydrochloric acid
- Detailed Finished Product evaluations with follow on reporting
Quality System – NSF, ISO - 10%
- Assists in the maintenance of the NSF systems.

About this Role and About You
Electrical & Instrument Technicians install, repair or maintain in accordance with manufacturer’s or site specifications, electrical and instrument equipment using hand tools, power tools and precision measuring and testing instruments.
Qualification
Knowledge
- Five (5) years industry experience in instrumentation and electrical or an associate’s degree in Instrument or Mechanical Technology.
- High school diploma or GED equivalency is required.
Competencies
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, manufacturer’s literature, diagrams or schematics.
- Good verbal and written communication skills and computer knowledge.
- Must be capable of wearing all protective type of equipment needed to complete jobs in safe and orderly fashion.

Key Responsibilities
- Inspect, troubleshoot, repair and/or replace items such as instruments, valves, disconnects and starters in order to protect personnel, equipment and to keep processes running.
- Disassemble, clean, inspect, repair and reassemble equipment such as automatic valves, motors, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, in order to restore to operation.
- Measure, cut, bend and install conduit, fittings and tubing as needed to install or repair equipment.
- Install, examine, replace or repair electrical wire, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, fiber optic and coaxial cable assemblies, lighting fixtures
- Lock, tag, try and test energy sources in order make equipment inoperable and safe to work on.
- Plan and coordinate work with other crafts while installing new work or replacing existing parts with new models.
- Receive training and be able to retrieve OSHA information such as PSM, MSDS, hazardous material lists, safety procedures, corporate standards, etc.
- I&E Technicians will reinforce the safety principles of the area and site and ensure trainees follow the standard work practices and procedures.
- Troubleshoot and correct problems with Distributive Control Systems equipment using test equipment and techniques to restore equipment to operation.
Working Environment
- Chemical manufacturing plant producing Liquid Alum, ACH and PAC chemicals
- Physical capability of performing tasks in 100 degree ambient temperatures while wearing Protective Personal Protection.
- This job requires climbing stairs and ladders and also lifting (within OSHA guidelines).
- This job consists of outside elements where radiant heat or cold is normal work environment, and rotating shifts.

The Chemtrade Beaumont facility is a spent sulfuric acid regeneration plant, providing hydrogen sulfide processing services for the local refinery by converting hydrogen sulfide into sulfuric acid. The Pumper is responsible for but not limited to loading/unloading rail cars and trucks. When the load rack is not fully utilized the Pumper will be asked to assist the maintenance department in maintaining, rebuilding, repairing, and the preventative maintenance of all plant operating equipment and facility buildings at the Beaumont facility.
Qualitications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Industrial Plant Pumper Experience Preferred

About this Role and About You
This individual manages all aspects of operations at the facility. The plant manager ensures the safe operation of the facility, ensures environmental compliance, is accountable for achievement of plant performance objectives and product quality, and monitors plant expenditures and budget. The incumbent will oversee some activities (i.e. manufacturing, maintenance) with his direct reports and will manage/direct others (i.e. quality, EHS, engineers) in coordination with the site Quality Manager, EHS supervisor and Engineering group representative. He/she will also ensure the satisfaction of customers by delivering product on time (working directly or indirectly with Logistics and Customer Service department). The incumbent is also responsible for managing the site CAPEX program. This is the top management position at the facility.

About this Role and About You
The maintenance manager is the leader of the maintenance department. This person is responsible for overall utilization of plant resources to achieve strategic maintenance and reliability objectives. About This Role and You
The Plant Manager at our Tulsa, OK Ultrapure sulphuric acid production facility will be part of a team that meets the needs for producing highly specialized materials, supporting a rapidly growing semiconductor manufacturing industry, that will be highly dynamic over the next decade.
The plant manager ensures the safe operation of the facility, ensures environmental compliance, is accountable for achievement of plant performance objectives including reliability, operability and product quality, and controls plant spending and budget. The plant manager oversees some activities (i.e. manufacturing, maintenance) with his direct reports, and will also manages through influence (i.e. quality, EHS, engineers) in coordination with the site Quality Manager, EHS supervisor and Engineering group representative. The plant manager also ensures the satisfaction of customers by delivering product on time (working directly or indirectly with Logistics and Customer Service department). The Plant Manager is also responsible for managing execution and reporting and forecasting the site CAPEX plan. This is the top management position at the facility.
Qualifications
· Bachelor of Science Degree. Chemical or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
· minimum 7-10 years’ experience in a related management position preferred.
· Demonstrated hands-on experience in chemical plant operations

Knowledge
- Minimum two (2) years of tractor/tanker experience
- Minimum one (1) year of tanker experience

- Be physically qualified to drive a motor vehicle and provide valid medical card

The Lab Quality Manager at our Cairo, OH Ultrapure sulphuric acid production facility will be part of a team that meets the needs for producing highly specialized materials, supporting a rapidly growing semiconductor manufacturing industry, that will be highly dynamic over the next decade.
The Lab Quality Manager will oversee laboratory personnel and activities, provide technical guidance and operational support to develop, maintain and improve laboratories, and associated processes for the for plant with a focus on Ultra-pure Sulfuric Acid. This position will represent a leadership role in Laboratory Management and product quality. This role is dynamic and requires flexibility in meeting ever changing job demands on a strategic and hands on level, while fulfilling day-to-day responsibilities. The Lab Manager will be delivering on multiple priorities in support of the Quality and Operations Teams and business functions. The Lab Manager will support efforts to maintain compliance with Responsible Care® ISO14001, Quality ISO9001and other corporate-sponsored initiatives.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or science related field.

About This Role and About You
The Senior Tax Analyst will report to the Senior Tax Manager and indirectly to the Vice President, Taxation, and will play a key role in supporting current and evolving U.S. tax compliance requirements, tax audit defense, consolidated tax accounting and financial reporting, global tax operations and assist in carrying out tax planning projects or initiatives. The Senior Tax Analyst will prepare or review required tax deliverables and will work closely with all members of the Canadian and US tax teams.
Qualifications
- 5+ years relevant experience working in a large, complex, multi-national company or major accounting firm (including at least three years corporate tax experience at a major accounting firm).
- CPA designation or in-progress pursuit of CPA designation preferred
- In-depth knowledge in the areas of corporate taxation and tax accounting is required.
- Knowledge in international tax, US tax, transfer pricing, and sales & use tax are assets
- Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree (MAcc, MTax, MBA) is an asset
- Experience with Longview Tax, SAP, Taxprep, Taxforms, Taxnetpro an asset
- A motivated individual with an interest in developing expertise in the tax area

- Ability to evaluate, analyze, prioritize work under tight timelines, and problem solve a variety of tasks to ensure timely and accurate completion of responsibilities.

Responsibilities
- Tax Compliance
- Support the preparation of US tax returns if needed (i.e. provide data and information).
- Responsible for the accurate and timely review and filing of all U.S. Federal and State tax returns and information returns, prepared by third party consultants.
- Review quarterly Federal and State estimates and annual filing extensions.
- Assist with preparing or reviewing periodic indirect tax calculations including monthly sales tax returns, annual property tax returns and periodic property tax bills.
- Assist with remitting all direct and indirect tax payments to taxing authorities.
- Assist with maintenance and filing of business tax licenses and ensuring validity.
- Maintain adequate sales tax exemption documentation.
- Assist the business in research of all tax matters: income, sales & use, property tax, etc.
- Tax Accounting
- Prepare or review quarterly tax provision, related note disclosures, and supporting analysis working papers, as well as assisting with management of external auditor queries.
- Assist in analyzing deferred tax recognition, tax contingencies, and assess impacts of new tax or accounting rules, including modelling potential financial impacts and writing position memos.
- Assist in forecasting tax rate and cash taxes for internal plans and external guidance.
- Prepare and record tax journal entries to be reviewed by the Senior Tax Manager and Vice President of Tax.
- Reconciliation and true up of tax accrual account balances at the end of the year.
- Tax Audit Support
- Ensure maintenance of audit-ready working papers.
- Support income, sales & use, and property tax audit defense in U.S., and assist with global audits (international tax, transfer pricing, foreign subsidiaries) where necessary.
- Tax Operations and Projects
- Play a key role in process improvement, process automation, technology implementation and change management.
- Assist with non-routine tax or business-initiated transactions or projects, as requested, which may include legal entity or debt reorganizations, loss utilization strategies, cash repatriation, cross border transactions, M&A and legal contract review.
- Assist with monitoring and maintaining income tax and indirect rates in various financial systems, as well as monitoring for relevant changes in tax rules and regulations.
- Drive knowledge sharing and cross-training efforts.
- Participate in special projects/adhoc reporting as requested.
