QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Polymer Science or Chemical Engineering (preferred but not required)
- 5+ years experience in PVC formulation, compounding and extrusion
- Knowledge of pigments for use in PVC applications is desirable
- Demonstrated ability to perform root cause analysis and think outside the box
- 5 years combined formulating or process engineering experience
- Strong Analytical, technical and strategic thinking skills
- Effective communication skills
- Project management experience
- Proficient understanding of Microsoft office
- Ability to travel up to 50% domestically on company business
Additional Consideration Given For
- Master’s degree in science
- Experience in color concentrate formulation (solid or liquid)
- Formulation of chemical foaming additives for use in thermoplastic extrusion or injection molding applications
